Claudia P. Escobar Claudia P. Escobar is a Ph.D. candidate in the School Organization and Education Policy emphasis area at the University of California, Davis School of Education and a graduate student researcher with the California Education Lab and Office for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. She is a former researcher and policy analyst for the University of California’s Office of the President. Her research explores the relationship between the social and emotional learning processes of first-generation college students and the culture of higher education vis-à-vis faculty and peer interactions. She has a bachelor’s degree in Government from Claremont McKenna College and a Master’s in Public Policy degree from the University of Chicago. In her spare time, she cycles, collects cooking recipes and spices, and tests the recipes she has collected.
