We are pleased to announce that on Friday, November 15th, 2019, the Department of African American and African Studies will host the 50th Anniversary Commemoration, ‘Visioning 50 Years Forward’. For the past 50 years we recognized a need to represent the experience of global Black communities in an intellectual capacity at UC Davis. As our 50th anniversary approaches, we are asking you to shape the next 50 years with us. Please join us as we discuss and imaginenot whether, but how we will move forward for the next 50 years, to build a thriving department.
