Background
Heightened tensions stemming from the conflict in the Middle East have led to hate crimes and discriminatory incidents on campuses nationwide. Compounding these tragic events are the political climate and the resultant silencing of discourse. This has impacted our faculty, staff, and students, who have a need to collectively process these events. This Grand Rounds series hopes to establish a safe forum where perspectives can be expressed and shared with a thoughtful exchange of ideas. Nationally renowned experts and speakers in their respective fields have been invited to deliver Grand Rounds for the Department of Internal Medicine.
Featured Speaker: Derek Penslar
