To the UC Davis Community

A memorial service for George Floyd will be held in Minneapolis today. In this message, the University of California Senate faculty representing all of the UC campuses, calls on the UC community to observe a moment of silence and reflection. We invite the UC Davis community to honor this moment at 11 a.m. Pacific time today, June 4.

I hope you’ll pause with me to recognize a life lost unnecessarily. Please join me in this observance.
