Dr. Arline T. Geronimus will discuss her book, Weathering: The Extraordinary Stress of Ordinary Life in an Unjust Society. Fusing science and social justice, Geronimus explores the ways in which systemic injustice erodes the health of marginalized people. Following her talk, entitled “Weathering and Health Equity: Social Identity, High Effort Coping, and Joy,” Geronimus will be joined by Donna Apidone for a Q&A.
