- The mission of the Womxn in Technology group is to provide a supportive and safe place for womxn in technology to gather, learn, share, and strive for equity.

- The primary goal of the WIT group is to support the empowerment of womxn pursuing or expanding their careers in IT at UCD/UCDH.

> Group initially forms
> Conduct initial meetings
> Host initial guest speakers
2019-20
> Start to form sub committees based on special interests
> GEIT (Gender Equity in IT) rebrand
> Started ERG process at UCDH
> Presented at UC Tech in Santa Barbara
2020-21
> Online social meet-ups as a response to Covid-19 pandemic
> Rebrand to WIT to align with the UCOP group

> Official campus group designation reporting into SWADAAC

- UC Womxn in Technology - The University of California Women in Technology Committee (UC WIT) is a self-chartered, independent entity that promotes a supportive, inclusive environment to advance the professional goals and aspirations of UC women in technology.

- "Visible Resilience" (April 17, 2024) - The UC Davis Womxn in Tech (WIT) group receives an official campus designation and becomes a subgroup of the Status of Women at Davis Administrative Advisory Committee (SWADAAC).
