Gun Violence and Extremism

A Presentation by Garen Wintemute, M.D., M.P.H.

In-person: International House, 10 College Drive, Davis

The United States has seen a rise in both hate crimes and gun violence. We are committed to working with our community to do what we can to prevent violence in any form and share the common vision of building communities that are engaged to support violence-free spaces where all identities are safe and respected.

Hosted by The Davis Phoenix Coalition, Office of Campus Community Relations and Community Engagement, Campus Community Book Project and the Davis Chapter of Moms Demand Action. Information about the city of Davis gun lock program will be briefly presented prior to talk by the Davis Police Department.
