Brandee Waite delivers keynote to audience

Office of Student and Resident Diversity's Closing Ceremony

On Friday, June 3rd, the Office of Student and Resident Diversity (OSRD) celebrated with a Closing Ceremony to honor the 2022 cohorts in the Medical School Preparatory Enhancement Program (MSPEP) and the Post-Baccalaureate Program. The keynote speech was delivered by Dr. Brandee L. Waite, PM&R Sports Medicine Section Chief and Fellowship Director and Co-Director of UCD Health Sports Medicine. Among the many encouraging words she shared, was the key message, "You belong everywhere." The program honorees included 20 Post-Baccalaureate students, 7 MSPEP students, and 5 Alumni who were acknowledged for their recent acceptance into UCD School of Medicine (4), and Meharry Medical College (1).
