  • Engage: As members of MFSA , we actively engage with the UC Davis community, creating spaces for dialogue that deepen understanding of the Muslim employee experience. Our mission is to foster collaboration across schools, colleges, departments, and units, enriching the broader university community's awareness of the rich tapestry of Islamic culture. The MFSA plans to cultivate connections between faculty, staff, and students to increase relationships by reducing Islamophobia through professional development and the development of programs and learning opportunities campus-wide.
    Equip: Functioning as a dedicated resource group, MFSA aims to equip UC Davis faculty and staff with the necessary tools to navigate the unique challenges and opportunities within the Muslim employee experience. Recognizing the importance of foreign languages and understanding the history and culture of other countries, we provide resources that enhance cultural competency, creating an environment where the skills needed for a diverse and inclusive workplace are cultivated.
    Empower: Building on the collective commitment to equity and inclusion, MFSA is dedicated to empowering Muslim employees within the UC Davis community. We serve as a catalyst for personal and professional growth, providing support networks and resources that acknowledge and address the specific needs of Muslim faculty and staff.
