Employee Resource Groups

UC Davis promotes belonging and connects people across interest, cultures and communities—from women in technology to veterans to people of different faiths and more.

Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are voluntary, employee-led, university-supported organizations that foster a sense of belonging, community, and professional growth among UC Davis staff and faculty. Open to all employees, ERGs create inclusive spaces where individuals can connect, share experiences, and support one another. These groups serve as valuable resources for professional development, networking, mentorship, and cultural awareness, strengthening the university's commitment to its employees.

Each ERG is open to all UC Davis faculty and staff, regardless of identity, and aims to cultivate a more inclusive and engaged workplace. By participating, you contribute to a campus culture that values diversity, professional growth, and a shared commitment to excellence.

African American Faculty and Staff Association (AAFSA)

The African American Faculty and Staff Association (AAFSA) provides a welcoming and supportive space for Black faculty, staff, and allies at UC Davis. AAFSA works to foster professional development, networking, and advocacy while advancing representation and career growth. The group is open to all employees interested in promoting inclusion and celebrating Black excellence.

Asian Pacific American Systemwide Alliance (APASA)

The Asian Pacific American Systemwide Alliance (APASA) supports Asian Pacific American faculty, staff, and allies at UC Davis. Through networking, mentorship, and community events, APASA fosters a collaborative environment that supports career development and campus inclusivity. Open to all, APASA encourages collaboration in building a strong, diverse community.

Queer and Trans Faculty and Staff Association (QTFSA)

The Queer and Trans Faculty and Staff Association (QTFSA) advocates for LGBTQIA+ faculty, staff, and allies by promoting policies, programs, and initiatives that advance equity and well-being. Through community engagement, professional development, and intersectional coalition-building, QTFSA works to create a more inclusive and affirming university environment. The group is open to all who wish to contribute to this mission.

DiversABILITY

The DiversABILITY Employee Resource Group supports faculty, staff, and allies with disabilities by promoting accessibility, inclusion, and awareness at UC Davis Health. The group is open to all and works to elevate disability visibility, ensure equitable workplace practices, and provide professional development opportunities.

Latinx Staff and Faculty Association (LSFA)

The Latinx Staff and Faculty Association (LSFA) at UC Davis supports Latinx faculty, staff, and allies through advocacy, mentorship, and professional development. LSFA collaborates with other campus partners to elevate cultural awareness and career growth. LSFA is open to all employees interested in supporting advocacy, mentorship and professional development.

Interfaith and Intercultural (IFIC)

The Interfaith and Intercultural (IFIC) Employee Resource Group provides a space for faculty, staff, and allies at UC Davis to engage in interfaith dialogue, cultural exchange, and meaningful conversations. IFIC creates a welcoming space where employees from all backgrounds can engage in meaningful conversations, celebrate shared values, and explore differences with mutual respect. Through education, special events, and discussion groups, IFIC is open to all and promotes inclusivity, cultural appreciation, and community connection.

Muslim Faculty and Staff Association (MFSA)

The Muslim Faculty and Staff Association (MFSA) at UC Davis supports Muslim faculty, staff, and allies by fostering inclusivity, professional development, and cultural engagement. MFSA engages in cultural and professional development initiatives, fostering connections across campus and beyond. Open to all, MFSA encourages engagement in programs that celebrate diversity and understanding.

Native American Faculty and Staff Association (NAFSA)

The Native American Faculty and Staff Association (NAFSA) provides a support network for Native American and Alaskan Native faculty, staff, and allies. NAFSA advocates for professional growth, representation, and awareness of Indigenous cultures, contributing to an inclusive university environment. All employees are welcome to engage in NAFSA’s mission and activities.

PRIDE-LGBTQ+

PRIDE-LGBTQ+ advocates for the needs and well-being of LGBTQ+ faculty, staff, and allies at UC Davis Health.  The group fosters a welcoming environment where LGBTQ+ employees and allies can engage in meaningful dialogue, access professional development resources, and contribute to a supportive campus community. The group is open to all and is committed to workplace inclusion, and community-building.

Veterans Faculty and Staff Association (VFSA) / Veterans Employee Association (VEA)

The Veterans Faculty and Staff Association (VFSA) and the Veterans Employee Association (VEA) provide resources and advocacy for veteran employees, active service member employees, and their families and allies at UC Davis. The group advocates for veteran inclusion, professional development, and policy recommendations to enhance the university experience for those who have served. Open to all, these Veteran's groups foster a community of support and shared understanding.

Womxn In Technology (WIT)

Womxn in Technology (WIT) at UC Davis fosters an equitable environment for faculty, staff, and allies in the technology field. Through mentorship, networking, and advocacy, WIT provides opportunities for career growth and community building. The group is open to all employees committed to supporting mentorship, career advancement, and collaboration in IT-related fields.
