Careers in Medical Affairs - Candice Clay is a Medical Science Liaison at Theravance Biopharma, a medium size pharmaceutical company. She received her PhD from UC Davis in Immunology and proceeded to move to a Postdoctoral Research position at the Lovelace Respiratory Research Institute in the Infectious Diseases Program. After this position, she returned to UC Davis as a postdoctoral researcher in the Respiratory Diseases Unit. She has now been with Theravance Biopharma for about 3 and a half years.

This is a great opportunity for students and postdocs to find out about internship/career opportunities, network, and learn about alternative career paths. (*Biomedical sciences is defined broadly as ANY research that is related to the advancement of health.)
