New Report Examines Experiences of Medical Students and Physicians with Disabilities
The AAMC (Association of American Medical Colleges) and the University of California, San Francisco, School of Medicine (UCSF) released a first-of-its-kind publication that explores the current state of medical education for medical students and physicians with disabilities. Accessibility, Inclusion, and Action in Medical Education: Lived Experiences of Learners and Physicians With Disabilities is designed to increase awareness and understanding of the challenges and opportunities for individuals with disabilities at the nation’s medical schools and teaching hospitals.
