Matthew St. Amant is a Finance and Operations Analyst with a expertise in organizational development and effectiveness. Currently serving as a Community Engagement, Finance and Operations Analyst and Program Manager at UC Davis Health, Matthew is known for his ability to drive strategic initiatives and foster inclusive environments. His leadership in developing the UC Davis Health Employee Resource Group program and implementing the Executive Sponsor Program has significantly contributed to the organization’s cultural transformation.
With a strong background in finance, project management, and relationship building, Matthew has consistently delivered results across complex and diverse settings. His previous roles at UC Davis Health’s School of Nursing showcased his talents in space planning, payroll auditing, and post-award research project management. Additionally, Matthew's experience extends to the hospitality industry, where he managed accounting operations and led major capital projects at Marriott Hotels.
Matthew is also actively involved in community service, advising the Elk Grove Police Department as a member of the Chief of Police Community Advisory Board and previously chairing the PRIDE Employee Resource Group at UC Davis Health.
He holds certifications in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from Cornell University and Human Resources Management from the University of the Pacific. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Management at Western Governors University, Matthew is dedicated to continuing his professional growth while making a positive impact in his community.
